Edward de Bono on Why Adjectives are Dangerous

Adjectives are dangerous. You should usually mistrust anyone who uses a lot of adjectives in an argument. Adjectives are a way of attaching your subjective feeling to something in an attempt to show that the quality is really objective.... It is part of wisdom to mistrust the use of adjectives. That does not mean that we should remove adjectives from language, but that we should realize that adjectives are usually subjective.
